Charterhouse is currently managing the search for an international organisation, who is seeking to recruit for the position of Legal Counsel.

This role will revolve around corporate and commercial matters, with the responsibility of reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of legal contracts, documentation and correspondence – this will consist of the drafting and execution of documents related to new corporate entity formations and standard corporate agreements including NDAs and documents related to corporate restricting such as mergers, formations and dissolutions.

In addition to this, you will also maintain corporate records, such as; resolutions, director changes, amendments and so on, while coordinating and reviewing board and committee signatures – you will also be responsible for maintaining the IP portfolio.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, or hold a qualification in Law- with at least 3-5 years of experience within the Legal practice; whether it be in-house or private practice. Experience in the Middle East is essential. You will need to have excellent communication skills in English, with both written and verbal. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.

This organisation is interested in speaking with a detail oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal and organisation skills – with the ability to work well with external clients. You will need proven corporate awareness and experience.
