Job Position – Librarian
Company Name – Premium International Private School
Location : Al Ain, UAE
Hiring an enthusiastic, organized, and student-centered to join our team. The successful candidate will foster a love of reading, manage the school library, support research and inquiry-based learning, and promote information and digital literacy across the American Curriculum.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science, Library Studies, Education, or a related field.
-Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a school library (UAE experience preferred).
-Experience working in American Curriculum schools is an advantage.
-Excellent command of English (Arabic is an advantage).
-Strong knowledge of library management systems, cataloguing, and digital resources.
-Ability to organize reading initiatives, book fairs, and literacy events.
-Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
-Eligible for ADEK Staff Eligibility under the current policy.
-Valid attested academic qualifications and experience certificates as required by ADEK.
Preferred
-Experience managing both physical and digital library collections.
-Knowledge of children’s and young adult literature.
-Experience promoting reading programs and supporting classroom research.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology platforms.
