Job Position – MEP Construction Manager

Experience: UAE MEP projects, managing large-scale construction teams
Role Description:
Responsible for Leading MEP Team and managing subcontractors / engineers / foremen / technicians for MEP execution as per project program, specifications & quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for engineering, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP projects of smaller scale.
-Assist the Senior Project Manager in the execution of larger-scale MEP projects.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of all relevant documentation, including:
- Coordinated MEP drawings
- Procurement schedules
- Project programs and timelines
- Progress reports
- Requests for Information (RFIs)
-Plan and ensure availability of all required materials in coordination with the procurement, accounts, and supplier teams.
-Track project progress against the master schedule and resolve any site-related issues that may delay the project.
-Coordinate with the main contractor for obtaining MEP clearances.
-Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.
-Monitor site inspections of MEP works and provide timely clearances to the main contractor.
-Regularly inspect installation work to ensure compliance with MEP specifications and approved drawings.
-Monitor and control the productivity, quality, and progress of MEP installations.
-Coordinate and ensure production of As-Built drawings at practical completion.
-Ensure that health & safety procedures are followed by MEP subcontractors and discussed during coordination meetings.
-Plan and ensure timely testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
-Coordinate with relevant authorities for inspections and approvals as per project completion dates.
-Arrange and coordinate training sessions for the client with MEP contractors at the time of handover.
-Ensure Timely preparation and arrangement of all handover documentation.
