Job Position – MEP Coordinator
Company Name – Al Shafar Engineering
Over 37 years of experience in delivering high-quality construction projects across diverse sectors, including public, corporate, residential, and commercial buildings, as well as villas.
Hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented full-time, on-site role in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across construction projects, ensuring seamless integration between MEP systems, civil works, and architectural elements. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site coordination experience, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities :
-Coordinate all MEP works (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and drainage systems)
-Review and coordinate MEP drawings, submittals, and technical documentation
-Ensure proper coordination between MEP, civil, and architectural works to avoid delays
– Collaborate with all key personnel to ensure smooth execution of MEP activities
-Monitor MEP installation progress and ensure compliance with project specifications
-Attend site meetings and provide technical input on MEP-related issues and solutions
-Track material delivery schedules and ensure availability of MEP resources on-site.
-Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and proper installation practices
Requirement (Strict Criteria)
-10 years of experience as an MEP Coordinator in the UAE construction industry
-Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems
-Proven experience in construction projects in the UAE
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated drawings
-Strong understanding of UAE authority regulations and construction standards
-Experience in site coordination and resolving technical clashes between disciplines
-Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic understanding of BIM coordination is an advantage
-Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced site environment
-Must be currently based in the UAE
-Immediate joiners will be given preference
