Job Position – Network Security Engineer

5 years plus experience in implementation fortinet ,PaloAlto , firemon and Algosec.
Responsibilities:
Designing network security architecture using FortiGate/PaloAlto Firewalls.
Planning firewall rules, VPN configurations, and security policies in accordance with best practices.
Implementation:
Deploying and configuring FortiGate Firewall solutions within various network environments.
Integrating the firewall with other security measures such as IDS/IPS, Web filtering, etc.
Monitoring the firewall’s performance, availability, and security.
Applying patches and updates as required.
Identifying and resolving any technical issues with the FortiGate Firewalls.
Collaborating with network and security teams to ensure seamless integration with other network components.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensuring that firewall configurations are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Generating regular reports on firewall activity, security incidents, and other relevant metrics.
VDOM (Virtual Domains) Management:
Creating, configuring, and managing Virtual Domains (VDOMs) to segment various parts of the network.
Ensuring proper isolation and security measures between VDOMs.

IPSEC VPN Configuration and Management:

Designing, configuring, and maintaining IPSEC VPN tunnels.

Ensuring secure remote connectivity and compliance with encryption standards.

SSL VPN Configuration and Management:

Implementing and managing SSL VPN solutions to provide secure remote access.

Troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues related to SSL VPN.

Firewall Policy Management:

Creating, modifying, and enforcing firewall policies in line with organizational security guidelines.

Regularly reviewing and optimizing firewall policies to ensure optimal performance and security.

Dynamic Routing Integration:

Configuring and managing dynamic routing protocols (such as OSPF, BGP) with FortiGate Firewalls.

Ensuring seamless integration with existing routing infrastructure and providing redundancy and efficiency.

SD-WAN Configuration and Monitoring:

Implementing and managing Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solutions using FortiGate devices.

Monitoring SD-WAN performance, optimizing routes, and providing redundancy and failover capabilities.
