Job Position – Procurement Engineer

Luxury Fit-Out
Who will be responsible for managing the complete procurement process for luxury interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely procurement of materials, competitive pricing, quality compliance, and seamless coordination with project teams. The role requires strong technical knowledge of Civil, MEP, Joinery, and Interior Fit-Out materials, along with effective vendor management and logistics planning.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage end-to-end procurement activities for multiple projects.
-Source and procure Civil, MEP, Joinery, and Interior Fit-Out materials in accordance with project specifications.
-Arrange material samples, mock-ups, and technical submittals for consultant and client approvals.
-Develop and maintain a reliable vendor and supplier database.
-Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
-Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Design, and Estimation teams to ensure timely procurement.
-Monitor material lead times and prepare procurement schedules aligned with project milestones.
-Plan and coordinate logistics, transportation, storage, and material deliveries to project sites.
-Verify technical compliance of materials with approved specifications and shop drawings.
-Track procurement status, material deliveries, and supplier performance.
-Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays while maintaining cost efficiency.
-Maintain proper procurement documentation, purchase records, and supplier evaluations.
-Identify alternate suppliers and value engineering opportunities without compromising quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement for Luxury Interior Fit-Out projects.
-Strong knowledge of Civil, MEP, Joinery, and Interior Fit-Out materials.
-Excellent understanding of local UAE supplier and subcontractor market.
-Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
-Experience in logistics planning and material coordination.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Procurement software.
Preferred Skills:
-Strong knowledge of luxury finishing materials and bespoke joinery.
-Ability to work under tight project deadlines.
-Excellent vendor relationship management.
-Strategic procurement planning and cost optimization.
-Strong analytical and reporting skills.
