Procurement Engineer Jobs in Dubai

 

Fit-out Company based in JAFZA and currently Hiring for a Procurement Engineer.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

·       Analyze all suppliers to select the most suitable suppliers who can deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing.
·       Developing an understanding of specifications and client requirements to allow research, design, and development of materials and working practices to ensure compliance with specifications.
·       Negotiate with suppliers on the lead time, cost, and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
·       Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality.
·       Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier preference studies.
·       Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.
·       Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule to ensure on-time deliveries of the final product.
·       Develop, implement, and drive the procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets.
·       Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
·       Perform regular performance reviews with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
·       Verify contractor quality requirements as specified in the approved vendor’s list and contractor documentation submittals and ensure compliance in all the procurement transactions.
·       Effective interpersonal skills, ability to listen and communicate well to line management & subordinates
·       Being able to manage one or more teams on multiple projects
