Job Position – Procurement Engineer

If you have a strong background working with main contractors and extensive procurement experience in the region
Key Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in the UAE
Proven experience working with main contractors
Strong knowledge of local suppliers, subcontractors, and market conditions
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end procurement processes for construction projects
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
Prepare and review RFQs, BOQs, and technical/commercial comparisons
Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with project schedules
Coordinate with project, engineering, and commercial teams
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Preferred Skills:
Strong analytical and cost control abilities
Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
