Job Position – Purchase Officer
Company Name – Unitek General Contracting
Location: Abu Dhabi
Joining Status : Immediate Joiners Preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Must have 3-5 years construction/fit out experience in GCC
-Driving License is an added advantage.
-Candidates must be available in UAE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Identify the materials, goods, and services required for construction projects based on the project specifications and budget.
-Identify potential suppliers, request quotes, and negotiate prices and terms of purchase.
-Review purchase orders and contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
-Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and to ensure that they meet quality standards.
-Coordinate with other departments and team members to ensure that materials and services are delivered on time and meet project requirements.
-Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and payments.
-Manage and control inventory levels, and ensure that inventory is used efficiently and cost-effectively.
-Keep up-to-date with market trends, new products, and new suppliers.
-Resolve any issues or disputes that arise with suppliers or contractors.
