Job Position – QHSE Officer

Job Summary:
Seeking a QHSE Officer for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and maintaining of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and procedures. The role involves conducting risk assessments, conducting regular inspections and audits, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly, managing incident investigations and coordinating with teams to promote a culture of health, safety, environment and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with QHSE standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
– Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
– Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes, prepare detailed reports, and recommend correction, corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
– Provide QHSE training and support to employees, promoting awareness and understanding of health and safety practices, quality standards, and environmental responsibilities.
– Assist in the development and execution of emergency response plans, supports and assists security in drills ensuring that all employees are trained to respond effectively to emergencies.
– Maintain accurate and up to date records of QHSE activities, including inspection reports, incident reports, and training logs to support compliance and continuous improvement.
– Work closely with other departments and facilities management teams to integrate QHSE practices into daily operations, ensuring consistent adherence to safety and quality standards.
– Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding QHSE matters, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring that their expectations and regulatory requirements are met.
Requirements:
– Valid UAE driving license and own car will be an advantage.
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
– NEBOSH IGC certification is required.
– 1-3 years of experience in FM. Additional experience in other industry is a plus.
– ISO 9001,45001 and14001 internal auditor courses attended.
– Other certifications and competency documents will be an added advantage
