Job Position – QHSE Officer

Location: Abu Dhabi

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies. This role is crucial in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management:
Develop and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards.
Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards.
Collaborate with various departments to establish quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Health & Safety:
Develop and implement Health and Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential risks in the workplace.
Ensure that all employees receive adequate training in health and safety practices.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Environmental Management:
Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in line with ISO 14001.
Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Promote environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives within the organization.
Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to mitigate negative effects.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a QHSE role
Proven track record of successfully implementing QHSE management systems.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QHSE management software.
Work Environment:
The role may involve working in both office and field settings, with occasional travel to different sites.
The QHSE Officer must be comfortable working in environments where there may be exposure to health, safety, and environmental hazards.
