Job Position – Quantity Surveyor
Company Name – Orion Contracting
Project Control Department
To join Project Control Department in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
-Analyze tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQs) to identify cost risks and opportunities
-Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for multi-disciplinary construction projects
-Coordinate with design, procurement, and planning teams for required inputs
-Maintain cost databases and support post-tender negotiations when required
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
-Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
-3–5 years’ experience as a QS with main contractors or large construction projects
-Strong experience with QS/cost management software (Auto CAD, Microsoft Office, Planswift, Candy, CostX, etc.)
-Excellent knowledge of UAE market rates, subcontractors, and material pricing
-Strong analytical, numerical, and commercial evaluation skills
-Excellent English communication skills
Preferred:
-RICS accreditation
-Arabic language proficiency
-UAE/GCC experience
-Immediate joiners preferred
