Job Position – Quantity Surveyor MEP

4) Assessment of Variations:
• Assist the Employer in assessing variations submitted by the Contractor under the Construction Contract.

5) Daywork Claims:
• Ensure all “daywork” claims under the Construction Contract are properly settled and agreed upon.

• Assist the Employer in valuing and settling claims under the Construction Contract.
• Agree on a final statement or account with the Contractor.

7) Expenditure Monitoring:
• Monitor and report monthly on expenditure in relation to the Cost Report until the Final Certificate is issued.

• Advise on the desirability of making payments for off-site goods and materials.

• Negotiate and agree on interim and final accounts under the Construction Contract with the Contractor.

The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
