Job Position – Sales Manager

The Scope of Work
To maximise the revenue performance of the property through the successful implementation and execution of a targeted sales effort.
In this role, you will sell hotel room nights through direct corporate client contact, implement hotel-level tactical sales plans as assigned, and produce monthly reports and sales forecasts for assigned areas of responsibility.
You will develop and maintain good relationships with DMCs and tour Operators to increase hotel sales and achieve the budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively finding opportunities for business growth by securing the development of the existing portfolio while simultaneously acquiring new accounts.
Entertaining and conducting hotel inspections with partners.
Engaging in weekly sales activities (sales calls, site inspections, entertainment, sales blitz) to secure the continuous growth of the business.
Assisting in conducting extensive competitor research and maintaining excellent hotel product knowledge.
Understanding the DMC/Tour Operators needs to build “win-win strategic partnerships”.
Liaising and working closely with the related operation departments, ensuring guests’ expectations are met.
Achieving personal sales targets.
Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and hotel policies.
Assisting the team with any support that they require.
Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Ensure all employees maintain an updated knowledge of hotel products, current promotions, policy changes, and appropriate internal communication.
Focus on solution-oriented problem management.
Regularly run reports, manage database and keep financial records per company policy.
Job Type: Full-time
Qualifications:
Three years of previous experience in a sales role
Leadership capabilities displaying integrity, respect, humility, empathy, creativity, and fun
Be well-spoken and an enthusiastic speaker
Good administrative, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
Driving License is mandatory.
