Job Position – Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Company Name – Wesgreen International School
To teach A-Level Mathematics (Edexcel) within the British Curriculum on our Boys’ Campus.
This is a full-time, on-site role. Responsibilities include:
-Developing and delivering lesson plans for A-Level Mathematics
-Assessing student progress and providing academic support
-Collaborating with colleagues and participating in school activities
-Ensuring lessons are engaging, rigorous, and aligned to Edexcel specifications
-Promoting inclusive practices and safeguarding standards
Essential Qualifications & Skills
-Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics or education
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE (or equivalent) preferred
-Proven experience teaching A-Level / Key Stage 5 Mathematics (Edexcel preferred)
-Strong track record of student progress and exam outcomes
-Excellent subject knowledge across Pure, Mechanics, and Statistics
-Lesson planning, effective communication, and classroom management skills
-Patience, dedication, and a passion for teaching
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with data-driven interventions and enrichment programs
-Confidence using technology to enhance learning and assessment
-Ability to design well-sequenced, rigorous lessons
