Job Position – Senior Accountant
Company Name – Atraco Group
Apparel Manufacturing and Export company based in Dubai having production factories in Kenya & Ethiopia.
Hiring an experienced & energetic to join our corporate office based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and administrative skills.
In addition, excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Payables & Receivables: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and collections.
Payroll: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Audit Preparation: Prepare documentation and assist in the preparation for internal and external audits. Ensure all financial records are organized and readily available for audit purposes.
VAT Compliance: Demonstrate experience and knowledge of UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations and ensure compliance with VAT reporting and submissions.
Negotiation Skills:
Utilize strong negotiation skills when dealing with vendors, suppliers, and clients to optimize financial agreements and contracts.
Problem Solving: Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or issues and propose solutions to address them.
ERP and Accounting Software: Proficiency in using ERP systems and accounting software to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
Administrative Skills: Handle administrative tasks efficiently to support the finance department’s smooth operation.
English Communication Skills: Maintain clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting from any manufacturing industry.
Garment manufacturing industry experience would be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations and compliance.
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in using ERP systems and accounting software.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is between AED 6000 to AED 8000 plus other benefits.
