Job Position – Senior Estimator cum Quantity Surveyor

JOB PURPOSE:
A commercially driven professional with deep expertise in marble and stone works to lead the full estimation and commercial lifecycle-from tender to project completion-ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
. Lead tender reviews and cost estimation for marble & stone works
. Prepare detailed BOQs using CCS Candy
. Source and evaluate supplier & subcontractor quotations (local & international)
· Develop accurate rate build-ups (materials, labour, logistics)
. Identify risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities
· Manage RFIs, variations, valuations & payment certifications
. Coordinate with procurement, design, factory & site teams
. Monitor cost vs. budget, cash flow & project performance
. Ensure contractual compliance and protect commercial interests
. Lead and mentor Estimators, QS, and Measurers
KEY STRENGTHS:
. Strong commercial and negotiation skills
. High attention to detail and accuracy
· First-principles pricing expertise
. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
. Deep knowledge of stone materials, finishes & installation
· Strong supplier market knowledge (local & international) teamwork and leadership
· Excellent abilities
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
. 10+ years in Estimation & Quantity Surveying
· 5+ years in marble/stone works (essential)
· UAE/GCC project experience
SOFTWARE SKILLS:
CCS Candy | PlanSwift | AutoCAD | MS Excel & Word
