Job Position – Senior Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence and Applications

Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.
– Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects.
– Contribute to curriculum design and the development of new modules in AI and related fields.
– Engage in scholarly and research activities in alignment with institutional priorities.
– Support academic mentoring, quality assurance processes, and collaborative initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
– Minimum 3 years of experience in either industry or teaching in higher education.
– A PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline-or currently pursuing a PhD with completion expected within the next 18 months.
– A strong academic background in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, with a solid foundation in theoretical concepts as well as applied knowledge.
– Proven experience in developing AI-based software applications.
– Proficiency in object-oriented programming, particularly Java and Python.
– A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCert, HEA Fellowship) is desirable.
