Job Position – Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities: and Duties
– Design and architect SD-WAN solutions using Aruba Silver Peak/Cisco technology to meet specific business requirements and objectives.
– Deploy, configure, and manage SD-WAN appliances and orchestrators across multiple sites.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD-WAN with existing network infrastructure and applications.
– Monitor and troubleshoot SD-WAN performance using Orchestration tools and platforms, addressing any connectivity or performance issues promptly.
– Optimize SD-WAN configurations to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and performance.
– Implement security measures and policies to protect SD-WAN traffic and data in compliance with organizational standards.
– Stay up to date with the latest developments and best practices in Aruba Silver Peak/Cisco SD-WAN, SDN technology, and related networking concepts.
– Perform network assessments to identify areas for improvement, security vulnerabilities, and optimization opportunities.
– Create comprehensive project technical deliverable documents, including network design documents, implementation plans, configuration guides, and post-implementation support documentation.
– Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
– Minimum of 6 years of experience working as a Network Engineer, with a focus on SD technologies, specifically Aruba/Cisco.
– Hands-on experience with Aruba Silver Peak SD-WAN & Cisco Legacy & SD solutions, including deployment, configuration, and management is A must.
– Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPN.
– Basic understanding of network security principles and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting legacy & SD routers, switches, and other network devices.
– Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Manage Engine, SolarWinds & PRTG.
– Ability to perform network assessments, analyze findings, and develop actionable recommendations.
– Industry certifications such as Aruba Certified Design Expert (ACDX), Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP), Cisco Professional Level or above or equivalent, are a plus.
