Job Position – Ship Maintenance Manager
Company Name – Axis HR Solutions
-Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications or additional technical training area plus.
-Extensive experience in maintenance management within the marine industry, preferably with knowledge of different vessel types.
-Strong understanding of marine systems, machinery, and equipment,including propulsion systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and auxiliary equipment.
-Proficient in oral and written English.
-Thorough understanding of local legislation and processes.
Strong communication skills.
-Excellent knowledge of MS office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
-Stay updated with industry best practices, technological advancements,
and regulatory changes related to maintenance in the marine industry.
-Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced marine environment,
-including the ability to respond to maintenance emergencies and work
-outside regular office hours when required.
-Excellent leadership and team management skills.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with
-internal and external stakeholders.
-Valid UAE driving licence.
