Tasks & Responsibilities
– Layout the strategic technology roadmap for both edge and backend systems in accordance to business vision (SMB, IoT, and AI).
– Layout the detailed full software architecture components for both edge and backend systems.
– Architect the service warranty aspects (Availability, Capacity, Continuity, and Security) in details.
– Develop blueprints for Service development standards, Service QA, Service Release standards, and Service zero touch provisioning.
– Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
– Review code throughout the development sprints and participate into sprints planning and tasks estimations.
– Troubleshoot Bugs and issues in case of escalations from technical leads.
– Design and execute management procedures and configuration standards.
Technical skills and other qualifications
– Certification in one of the following technologies is a major plus : Cloud, web application development, cloud-native application architecture (i.e. containers, microservices, API management)
– A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Architectural role.
– A minimum of 5 years of experience in Software and System developments and DevOps using K8s, Aws, Jenkins, terraforms.
– Knowledge in API management, serverless technologies, microservice frameworks etc.
– Previous experience with an edge computing project of a large scale.
– Hands on experience of backend and frontend technology stack covering Go, Python, Bash, Java Script, and Vue JS.
– Hands on experience with extensive knowledge Docker, Kubernetes and KubeEdge.
