Job Position – System Administrator

-Knowledge/experience of Servers, Virtualization, Azure/Oracle Cloud migration, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS configuration, FortiGate firewall, VPN configuration, Patch Management, Backups etc
-Provides IT technical support for both hardware and software issues to end users within the office, on-site and remotely.
-Assists in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include desktop PCs, servers, network equipment and software applications.
-Manages end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices.
-Anticipates, mitigates, identifies, troubleshoots and corrects hardware and software issues on servers and workstations. Escalates incidents as necessary.
-Manages network printers and scanners, switches, wifi access points, IP telephone, firewalls and other IT related devices.
-Maintains IT asset management, component inventory and related documentation and technical specification information.
-Coordinates with vendors to secure software products, server maintenance, copier and printer services.
-Regularly updates windows OS patches, anti-malware’s and security appliance patches.
-Monitors software and hardware license and subscriptions and other IT related renewals.
-Assists IT Manager to complete daily IT tasks and follows up day to day IT operations.
