Job Position – System Engineer

Location: Doha, Qatar
Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and operating systems.
Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Planning and executing server backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Designing, deploying, and managing storage systems, including direct-attached storage (DAS), network-attached storage (NAS), and storage area network (SAN) solutions.
Implementing data retention, backup, and recovery strategies.
Configuring and optimizing storage arrays and file systems for different workloads.
Collaborating with application and database teams to ensure efficient data access and storage.
Upgrading and patching storage systems to maintain security and functionality.
Planning and implementing disaster recovery solutions for critical data.
Deploying and configuring HCI solutions using software-defined technologies.
Managing virtualization platforms, such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V, within the HCI environment.
Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate servers with network, storage, and other infrastructure components.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in the IT industry
Strong understanding of server and storage technologies
Experience with virtualization and cloud computing
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
