Job Position – Technical Support Engineer – L1

Location; Dubai
Experience ; -5-8 years

-Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Managing Windows AND VMware environments.
-Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
-Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
-Provide support on Windows/VMWare/LINUX/BACKUP and Storage servers hosted in clients Data Centers
-Installation, Configuration and administration of Windows/VMWare/LINUX/BACKUP and Storage servers
-Performance tuning and storage optimization Upgrade and patching of Windows/VMWare/LINUX/BACKUP and Storage servers
-Working knowledge of common services such as: DNS, SMTP, DHCP, HTTPS, SFTP, Cluster configuration, management and troubleshooting
-Ability to communicate technical information in a clear manner, both written and verbally, to end users.
-BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
-Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, VMware ,Dell or similar technologies is a plus

Desirable requirements:
-Must be self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and skills to better assist customers
-VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred
-Microsoft Certified IT Professional 2008, 2012, 2016
-ITIL v3 Foundation preferred
-Understanding on the backup technologies.
-Understanding on the HCI technologies.
– Added advantage, knowledge on VCF on VxRail, VDI administration
