Job Position – Telecom Technician
Company Name – Qatar TEC
Required to carry out the preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) of a wide range of Telecommunication systems on company’s Ras Laffan plant (onshore) and offshore facilities as per company procedures and the maintenance plan. The telecom systems include electrical, electronic and mechanical subsystems.
He is also required to carry out installations and execute modifications to the existing system as directed by the Telecom Engineers.
The Industrial Telecom systems are:
PAGA system, CCTV system, Security Access and Attendance system, Meteorological system, Microwave line-of-sight radio, Fence Intrusion Detection system, OTN system, TETRA radio system, Aeronautical radio system, Marine radio system, Telephone system and Structured cabling system.
Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
-Minimum diploma in electrical/electronics engineering (or a similar field related to Telecommunication).
