Job Position – Transport Planner

Hiring for a proactive and detail-driven to join our growing Transport Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoy coordinating logistics operations.
What You’ll Do
-Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules for precast elements across multiple project sites
-Review site requests and ensure timely and accurate dispatch planning
-Coordinate with the stockyard to confirm product availability (system & physical checks)
-Liaise with site teams to manage shortages and adjust delivery plans
-Prepare and process delivery notes using internal systems
-Maintain and update delivery schedules using Excel and planning tools
-Work closely with the Transport Foreman to manage daily operations
-Ensure proper trailer allocation based on load requirements
-Verify site access, permits, and delivery conditions before dispatch
What We’re Looking For
-Experience in transport planning, logistics, or similar role (construction industry preferred)
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Good communication and coordination abilities
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning systems
-Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple priorities
-Knowledge of transport equipment and load planning is an advantage
