Job Position – Transportation Manager
Company Name – Gulf Model School
Seeking a highly experienced Transportation Manager to lead and oversee all school transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing school transportation services, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students, supervising drivers and bus attendants, managing fleet operations, and ensuring full compliance with RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, and school transportation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage and oversee all daily school transportation operations.
– Develop and optimize bus routes, schedules, and pickup/drop-off points.
– Supervise, train, and evaluate drivers, bus attendants, and transportation staff.
– Ensure full compliance with RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, and school transportation safety requirements.
– Manage transportation management systems, GPS tracking, student transportation records, attendance, and operational reports.
– Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, registration, permits, and fleet roadworthiness.
– Handle transportation-related incidents, complaints, and emergencies professionally.
– Liaise with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and other relevant authorities regarding transportation compliance and operational requirements.
– Collaborate effectively with school leadership, staff, and parents to ensure safe and efficient transportation services.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in school transportation or fleet management.
– Strong knowledge of RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, school transportation safety standards, and fleet management.
– Proven experience managing transportation systems, GPS tracking, route planning, and transportation technology.
– Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
– A valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
