Job Position – Windows Administration

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, virtual networks, and storage solutions.
Administer and maintain Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, security hardening, and performance monitoring.
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive patching strategies for Windows Servers, VMware hosts, and guest operating systems using tools like WSUS, SCCM, or other relevant solutions.
Plan and execute regular patching cycles, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Thoroughly test and validate patches in pre-production environments before deploying to production.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server, VMware, and patching failures.
Develop and maintain documentation for the Windows and VMware infrastructure, including patching procedures.
Implement and maintain security best practices across the Windows and VMware environment.
Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization of the infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows Server and VMware technologies, security vulnerabilities, and patching best practices.
Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support.
Microsoft Certified or Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure or equivalent
