Job Position – Accountant
Company Name – Falcon Global General Trading
Industry: Wholesale/Retail.
Location: Dubai, UAE.
Education: bachelor’s degree/master’s degree.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of UAE Experience in a similar profile.
Salary: 2500- 3000 AED.
Responsibilities
Manage all accounting transactions.
Prepare budget forecasts.
Publish financial statements in time.
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely bank payments.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Requirements
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Advanced MS Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables.
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and quantitative skills.
Strong analytical and time-management skills.
Handling VAT Reporting on a Quarterly basis.
Proven experience as an accountant.
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
