Job Position – Accountant
Company Name – Al Mashreq Group
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: AED 5,000 – AED 6,000/month
Availability: Preference for candidates who can join immediately
Reporting To: Senior Accountant
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in the UAE, and possess a strong understanding of UAE financial regulations and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
-Handle daily accounting tasks – data entry, ledger maintenance, reconciliations
-Manage accounts payable and receivable
-Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
-Prepare financial reports for management review
-Ensure compliance with UAE financial laws and company policies
-Support VAT submissions and audit processes
-Coordinate with external auditors
-Manage document submissions and collections with a proactive attitude
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (3+ years in UAE)
– Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting tools is a plus
– Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and financial regulations
– Attention to detail, with strong organizational and communication skills
– Ability to work both independently and in a team
