Job Position – Accounts Manager

An experienced Accounts Manager with a background in shipping, logistics, and freight forwarding. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations within these industries and possess exceptional managerial skills. As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Participate in audits and tax preparations.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Leadership and managerial skills.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
