About the job
Key Responsibilities:
– Design advanced conceptual, logical and physical data organizations, models, repository, dashboards, reports within a complete functional and technical architecture.
– Review and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.
– Evaluate and plan activities to implement automation of manual data extracts and other manual activities.
– Identify and implement opportunities to utilize advanced data analytics, such as statistical analysis, forecasting, regression, etc, to add value to business processes.
– Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
– Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
– Create and maintain technical documentation including specifications, data flows, data mapping and data dictionaries. Keep documentation up to date on any existing report changes.
– Experience in working with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Analytics.
– Experience in configuring linked services, Dataset and integrating Pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
– Expertise in troubleshooting issues on Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Analytics and Azure Data Warehouse.
– Experience in architecting, designing, developing BI and other analytical, reporting solutions using standard BI tools.
– In-depth experience with Microsoft analytics Stack (SQL Server, SSAS Tabular, SSRS, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL and T-SQL)
– Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
– Experience in creation of technical specifications and project documentation and translating functional requirements into detailed technical requirements.
– Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements
– BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
– Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Oracle Databases.
– Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)
