Job Position – Business Analyst cum Data Analyst
Company Name – Flint International
Banking for Jeddah location.
Role Overview
Works across business teams, data engineering teams, and migration teams to ensure correct business-to-technical mapping, requirements gathering, and analysis for data lakehouse migration.
Key Responsibilities
-Gather business requirements from SMEs across Banking (Payments, LOS, Trade, CORTEX, GL, MUREX).
-Perform source-to-target mapping (S2T) and create functional + data mapping documents.
-Understand existing ETL logic in IBM DataStage and help translate to Informatica.
-Analyse data quality rules, profiling, gap analysis.
-Work with architects to validate FSLDM (Financial Services Logical Data Model) alignment.
-Support test case creation, UAT validation, and data reconciliation.
-Work with data engineers for historical load + incremental + CDC design.
-Strong SQL data validation on Teradata/Hadoop.
-Coordinate with Denodo teams for creating virtual semantic models on top of lakehouse.
Required Skills
-5–10 years in banking BA roles + strong SQL/data analysis.
-Hands-on with Teradata, SQL, Excel, Power BI.
-Experience in Core Banking, Payments, GL, Trade Finance.
-Ability to interpret DataStage/ETL logic.
