Job Position – Category Manager (Order & Logistics)

Azizi Developments is seeking a highly experienced Category Manager (Order & Logistics) to lead our international procurement and logistics operations for Civil and MEP construction materials. If you have extensive experience in global sourcing, strategic supplier negotiations, and overseas procurement within the construction industry, we’d like to hear from you.
Key Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
– Minimum 15 years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on international sourcing and overseas procurement.(atleast 10years in UAE)
– Proven experience in the procurement of major Civil Finishes materials and Civil & MEP subcontract packages for large-scale construction projects
– Expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing
– Experience managing global suppliers, import/export processes, and international logistics
– Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Proficiency in three or more foreign languages will be a strong advantage
– Willingness to travel internationally when required
Key Responsibilities
– Lead global sourcing strategies and high-value supplier negotiations
– Manage end-to-end international procurement, ordering, and logistics operations
– Build and maintain long-term relationships with global suppliers
– Drive procurement cost optimization and continuous process improvements
– Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and procurement governance
– Conduct supplier performance evaluations, market intelligence, and benchmarking
– Develop framework agreements and long-term supply contracts
– Collaborate with Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Project teams to support business objectives
