-At least 1-2 years of experience working in a Japanese restaurant or with Japanese cuisine.
– Strong knowledge of robata grilling techniques, including the ability to control the temperature of the grill and the timing of each dish.
– Formal culinary education or training, such as completion of a culinary program or apprenticeship in Japanese cuisine or robata cooking.
– Excellent knife skills and attention to detail, as robata cooking requires precision and accuracy.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with other members of the kitchen staff and interact with customers.
– Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to ensure that the food is prepared and served safely.
– Flexibility in terms of work schedule, as robata cooking often involves working nights and weekends.
