Job Position – Civil Inspector

NCO – National Consulting Office for Engineering is looking for a Civil Inspector to join our growing team on an active waterworks infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi Emirate.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for site inspection of civil works including earthworks, excavation, backfilling, concrete, road works, and drainage systems — ensuring full compliance with drawings, specs, and standards (TAQA, BS, ASTM, AASHTO).
Key Responsibilities:
– Daily site inspection of civil and waterworks activities
– Witnessing field tests (compaction, concrete cube, slump, pressure tests)
– Raising NCRs and monitoring close-out
– Preparing HSE Observation Reports and Daily Inspection Reports
– Verifying material deliveries against approved submittals
– Coordinating with client, consultant, and third-party labs during ITP hold/witness points
Requirements
– BSc or Diploma in Civil Engineering
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil inspection
– Strong background in infrastructure water works, pipeline laying & testing, fire hydrants
– ACI, CIOB, or equivalent certification is a plus
