Job Description:

The role is responsible to Engineer Azure, AWS and GCP cloud security implementations for various cloud solutions across hybrid, and on-premises systems. If you think you have what it takes to help our clients make their businesses more secure, we want to hear from you.

 

Responsibility:

· Engineer cloud cybersecurity solutions.

· Review existing or proposed cloud solution and recommend required cybersecurity engineering aspects.

· Engineer/Implement the security for cloud cloud/hybrid systems.

· Thoroughly document implementations, via technical documentation and run books for the client.

· Possess a good understanding of the offerings and capabilities within Amazon Web Services (AWS), GCP, and Microsoft Azure platforms.

· Possess a fair understanding and have experience with systems automation platforms and technologies.

· Customer facing role – Walk thru to white boarding of engineering and implementation to stakeholders.

Qualification/Experience:

· College degree or/equivalent and 2 -3 years related work experience, required.

·  Security/Cloud entry/expert level certifications across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, GCP is required.

· Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

· Experience in engineering within Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, GCP

· Knowledge with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development (Application Security), data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments.

· Good knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc).

· Knowledge of deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Cloudformation, Terraform, Ansible) preferred.

· Experience with enterprise applications ( development, support, and troubleshooting).

· Proficiency in scripting programming languages – Python, JSON, Ruby, C#, Powershell, YAML is preferred.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment

· Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated

· Technical writing experience.
