Job Position – Customs Clearance Agent
Company Name – iMile Delivery
To manage end-to-end air cargo import and export operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in customs clearance, air freight documentation, and courier handling, with excellent coordination skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders. This role requires precision, strong compliance awareness, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate cargo movement.
Key Responsibilities=
Manage customs clearance procedures at the airport (CMC), ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Process all types of Bill of Entry (BOE) through Dubai Trade (E-Mirsal 1 & 2) systems accurately and efficiently.
Handle courier material in accordance with Dnata regulations and airport handling procedures.
Prepare and dispatch shipment pre-alerts to clients, partners, and agents to facilitate smooth inbound/outbound operations.
Utilize Dubai Trade and CALOGI platforms for shipment processing, document submission, and real-time tracking.
Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs officials to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
Prepare and manage import and export documentation for both B2B and B2C shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.
Arrange transportation, including last-mile delivery, in coordination with vendors and in-house fleets.
Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and third parties to ensure efficient cargo movement.
Education & Qualifications
HSC or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in customs clearance and airport operations.
Strong knowledge of Dubai Trade systems (E-Mirsal 1 & 2) and BOE processing.
Familiarity with the CALOGI system is required.
