Downstream Risk Engineer – Insurance – Middle East ( Abu Dhabi / Qatar / Dubai )
Working in partnership with a Global Profitable Insurance company that has offices worldwide and growing rapidly due to growth of the business.
The role will be heavily client facing, and require a great deal of flexibility around the facilities visited. It will involve surveying client’s oil & gas, downstream Refinery assets, producing risk assessments, loss estimates and conducting training and benchmarking exercises. The role offers the opportunity to interact with senior client staff in Risk Management, Operations and Engineering functions. The ability to communicate to all organisational levels is a critical competency.
Insurance background is not required – you will be trained intensively for 6 months
Candidates Profile
Work Experience:
10 years’ experience in Operations / Maintenance / Technical Functions in Petrochemicals or refinery plants
Academic Background:
Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree preferably
