For a restaurant/Bar in Dubai. Hospitality experience is mandatory.
Salary: 3500-4500 AED (gross) + duty meals + tips
Job Description
The Cashier will be responsible for providing friendly, courteous service to all guests, handling cash transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Qualified applicants must have a great attitude and be able to work efficiently and quickly while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
• Provide outstanding customer service – greet guests, answer questions, and address complaints
• Accurately calculate and process cash/credit transactions
• Balance receipts with cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Process guest payments, including credit cards, checks, and cash
• Answer guest questions about menu items, specials, and prices
• Follow company cash-handling policies and procedures
• Maintain clean, organized work area
• Upsell additional menu items and liquor/beer
Requirements
• 1 year of previous cashier experience in a restaurant/bar setting
• Knowledge of MICROS
• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and other employees
• Must be reliable and committed to excellent customer service
