Job Position – Field Operators
Company Name – STAR SERVICES

Industry: Steel
Educational Qualification (Mandatory):
-Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Science
Experience Required:
-3–5 years of experience in Petrochemical, Fertilizer, or Gas-based DRI Plants
-Experience in field equipment operations and monitoring
-Experience in field data logging and identifying abnormalities
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate and monitor field equipment as per control room instructions
-Handle safe start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures
-Perform equipment inspections and report abnormalities
-Maintain housekeeping and safety standards
-Ensure proper valve alignment and process control
Technical Knowledge:
-Understanding of P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)
-Knowledge of process operations in DRI/Petrochemical plants
-Knowledge of plant safety procedures
– Basic field instrumentation knowledge
Preferred:
-Exposure to DRI / Steel Plants
-Training in equipment operations (Pumps, Compressors, Boilers)
-Experience in Hot Discharge Tenova HYL Plant
-Training in safety-related programs
