Title: Finance Assistant
Salary: 8,000 AED – 10,000 AED P/Month
Location: Dubai International Finance Centre
We are looking for a Finance Assistant – General Ledger to join an International Fund Manager and global market leader.
You will be a part of a dynamic team of high calibre professionals that are driven by excellence. You will have demonstrable experience of managing the General Ledger.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Finance Manager and Group Finance Director
- Managing inter-company bank reconciliations
- Dealing with and reporting with any discrepancies in GL postings
- Responsible for Accounts Payable coding, matching and batching of invoices
- Responsible for Receivables Ledger, raising invoices on sales ledger and reconciliation
- Responsible for Treasury postings to GL
- Liaising and communicating with the Bank
- Dealing with ad-hoc queries as they arise
As the Finance Assistant, you will be/have:
- Qualified Finance Graduate ideally in Accounting & Finance or Part Qualified Accountant CPA/ ACCA
- 2 years’ work experience in a relevant accountancy/ financial role
- Experience of managing relationship with Banks’
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Arabic speaking skills are an advantage
