You will be a detailed driven person who thrives under pressure. This role supports reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the finance and accounts department. Along with motivating and inspiring a team you will also support with the preparation and management of the hotel’s financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the hotel in compliance with the UAE laws and also by the Premier Inn’s operating procedures and standards.
What will I be doing?

- Coordinate with Finance Manager for Timely completion of annual audit of the Company’s financial accounts ensuring compliance with financial record retention policies and all regulations.
- Responsible for managing budgets, risk management, suppliers’ optimization, vendor development, green purchasing and etc.
- Ensuring Timely preparation and review of bank reconciliation statements activity reports, MIS for the Finance Manager & to prepare and present monthly Purchase review.
- Effectively manage the Oracle Purchasing system
- Review progress on placed orders and prioritize purchasing assign accountabilities and Coordinate regarding pricing, time frames and deliveries
- Manage any escalations on goods delayed, defected and ensure appropriate communication at all levels Scheduling and notify the Vendors with payment details.
- Relationship and account management of all vendors including holding regular review meetings and communicating the corrective actions of the defective goods and services with the supplier.
- Perform quarterly/half yearly review of rate agreement to ensure competitive rates and to keep proper notes of competitive proposals.
- Monitor consumption patterns and inefficiencies either in procurement or utilization of goods and services at hotel levels.
- Resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos;
- Support all payroll activities including the preparation of Final Settlements
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Prepare petty cash payment by recording entry; verifying documentation.
- Review the Creditors aging report with the Finance Manager before month end closing and Ensure aging balance reconciles with the General ledger
- Prepare and manage all documents in line with VAT regulation and other related activities.
- Review Open LPO’s at month end by clearing the unused F&B LPO’s on a Monthly basis and Others LPO’s in consultation with Finance Manage
Requirements
- Knowledge of advanced computer-based accounting systems and software
- Experience of working in a payroll software is advantageous

Experience

- Professional Accounting Qualification i.e. CA/ACCA/CPA
Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounts in hospitality industry
