Job Position – HSE Officer
Company Name – High Trust General Contracting & Transport
For immediate deployment on earthworks and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards related to excavation, trenching, heavy equipment, and infrastructure works.
– Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices by all workers and subcontractors.
– Perform risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for earthworks, excavation, backfilling, and utility works.
– Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and ongoing HSE training programs.
– Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
– Ensure environmental compliance, including waste management, dust control, noise control, and spill prevention.
– Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to ensure safe execution of work.
– Maintain HSE documentation, reports, permits, and records
Ensure emergency preparedness, including drills, first aid readiness, and evacuation procedures.
– Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with local regulations and company requirements.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
– Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent.
– Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects.
– Good communication and reporting skills.
– Arabic & English language speaking
