Job Position – HSE Officer
Company Name – Alchemy
Location: Abu Dhabi
Salary: AED 5,000 + Offshore Allowance
Rotation: 42/21
Requirements:
– Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Engineering with more than 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
– Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas experience, including at least 3 years in Drilling & Workover operations.
– Minimum 3 years of hands?on experience in Rig operations.
Responsibilities:
– Verify compliance with the Permit?to?Work (PTW) system and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) across all rig and contractor activities.
– Conduct and coordinate HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs for rig crews and contractors.
– Coordinate and participate in emergency response activities, including drills, to evaluate contractor emergency preparedness.
– Lead and participate in incident investigation and reporting, ensuring investigations are completed to a satisfactory standard.
– Identify hazards through routine inspections, audits, and site monitoring, and ensure effective risk controls are implemented.
– Ensure contractors comply with Company HSEMS requirements through regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
– Review contractor PTW/JSA systems, identify gaps, track corrective actions to closure, and report progress to the Company.
– Monitor, analyse and record HSE statistics, trends, and KPIs to support proactive HSE planning and improvement initiatives.
– Liaise with Rig Safety Officer, OIM, and contractor representatives to review HSE performance and recommend improvements, supported by regular reports.
– NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory); additional HSE certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, or equivalent will be an advantage. ADNOC / ARAMCO approval is preferable.
