Job Position – HSE Safety Specialist
Company Name – Brunel
Prestigious client – Oil & Gas LNG Operating Company in Qatar
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering (Chemical), or Safety discipline. & NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent with 12 years of experience as a HSEQ / SHE&S professional, loss prevention and industrial safety..
Experience in the Oil & Gas, HSEQ management of engineering, construction and commissioning projects, systems completions coordination, hook up/commissioning, and start up activities in brownfield and greenfield environment.
Good understanding of both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques. Experience of active participation in process safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, fire & explosion, dispersion modelling and FERA/QRA studies.
Ability to read engineering drawings/documents and communicate with other engineers is essential.
Knowledge in developing and implementing Emergency Response Procedures to deal with H2S Risk to the workers.
Experience in active participation of workers’ welfare programs
Experience in development and maintenance of Project HSE Risk Registers.
Good knowledge of hazard identification software’s (e.g. PHAPro), consequence modelling software (e.g. PHAST), or other software (e.g. Pipenet).
Good knowledge of written and spoken English with ability to produce procedures and technical reports.
Contract duration : 2 years with possible extension
Normal Working Days : 5 days per week
Work Location : Qatar ( Doha & Ras Laffan )
