Job Position – Inclusion Teacher
Company Name – Al Basma British School
-Bachelor’s Degree (QFE Level 7) in Special Education or a related field, or another ADEK-approved eligibility pathway.
-Relevant Special Education qualification, CPD or training, in line with ADEK’s School Inclusion Policy.
-Experience supporting students with additional learning needs; a minimum of 1 year’s teaching experience is required for the relevant qualification pathway.
-Experience with Individual Education Plans (IEPs), interventions and student progress monitoring.
-Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive education practices.
-Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents and other members of the school community.
-A strong understanding of and commitment to student safeguarding and wellbeing.
-Fluency in Arabic and English.
English language proficiency: IELTS requirements apply in accordance with ADEK guidelines. IELTS 7 is required where English is being taught as a subject; other requirements may apply depending on the role and language of instruction
