Job Position – IT Solutions Officer

Duties

- Gives Assistant to the IT Manager for the setup of the Pullman co-meeting “connectivity” promise for all events
- Monitors technological developments, keeps up-to-date with technological innovations, and makes suggestions.
- Ensures that best practices are followed with regard to all IT, Telecoms & Audio Visual equipment
- Applies the brand’s quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
Customer relations
- Ensure that all necessary arrangements and setup are in working order for the events and functions
- Intervenes if there are any problems before or during the event. Is reactive and proposes solutions.
- Contributes to the satisfaction of individual guests by ensuring the technical team has the skills needed to resolve simple and recurrent problems.
Professional Techniques / Production
- Assists the IT manager in monitoring technological developments and latest progress.
- Assists the IT Manager and event Manager to prepare the “connectivity” specifications for the meeting as sold.
- Is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of technical IT, telecoms, and audiovisual equipment and ensures it is in good working order.
Team Management And Cross-departmental Responsibilities
- Forms a duo with the IT Manager and the Event Manager.
- Has a strong functional link to all departments in the hotel.
- Assists as a Supervisor for any external staff brought in for events.
Commercial / Sales
- Helps the IT Manager and the Events Manager to promote the Meeting offer by providing high-quality services and making proactive suggestions may help draw up the proposal in advance of an event.
Management and administration
- Contributes to the development of Events revenue by proposing additional and new technological solutions.
Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
- Ensures that all equipment available is duly respected and meets all safety norms and conformity regulations (eg. the CNIL declaration of personal data in France).
- Keeps the workplace clean and tidy.
- Applies hotel safety regulations (fire hazards etc.).
- Respect the hotel’s commitments to the “Environment Charter” (energy saving, recycling and sorting waste , etc.).
Qualifications
A new service attitude centered on proximity, sociability and sharing experience.
Ensure all staff embody the same mindset by developing each individual’s sense of curiosity, open-mindedness, interpersonal skills, and a sense of initiative.
