Summary
KAYALI is currently seeking a highly experienced IT Support Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure services on a global scale. Based at our Headquarters in Dubai, this role reports to the Global Technology Director and focuses on providing comprehensive support for our cloud-based infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT support, with a strong emphasis on device management, networking, active directory services, and cloud platform expertise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
System Installation and Configuration: Install and configure computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and resolving technical and application problems, both remotely and in person.
Active Directory Management: Manage access across an Active Directory environment, ensuring secure and efficient user permissions.
Collaborative IT Support: Adopt a collaborative approach to provide support for all IT and technology requests across departments, ensuring consistent and timely assistance throughout the year.
Telco Carrier Management: Manage relationships with Telco carriers in the UAE, liaising with Account Managers to ensure service level continuity, device orders, and efficient management of business accounts.
Office Equipment and Meeting Room Systems: Ensure the proper functioning of office equipment and meeting room systems, including providing user training and support for optimal usability.
Global Device Fleet Management: Monitor and implement solutions across the global device fleet using Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.
Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Provide expertise and troubleshooting support for our cloud infrastructure platforms, overseeing hosting for files and software services.
Onboarding and Offboarding Support: Work closely with the People & Culture department to ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding process, meeting internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
IT Procurement: Involvement in collaboration with vendors to purchase IT equipment.
Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date inventory assignments for internal devices (laptops, PCs, phones) across all global offices.
Data Security and Governance: Demonstrate experience and understanding in data security, privacy, and governance, with a commitment to maintaining high standards in these areas.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT support, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure services.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, networking, and cloud platforms.
Experience in Telco carrier management and relationship building.
Proficiency in RMM and MDM tools.
Familiarity with data security, privacy, and governance best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Previous experience in a global organization is a plus.
