Job Position – IT System Engineer

Job Requirements:
-Degree in computer technology with a minimum of 8 years experience.
-Professional certifications are a plus.

-Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
-Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
-Occasional travel to remote areas and other offices.
-The nature of the position may occasionally require work to be performed at non-standard hours and on weekends.
-Excellent in English speaking and writing.
-Good in writing technical documentation, manuals, reports and IT policies.
Job Responsibilities
System:
-Managing the data center with day-to-day operations. Monitoring the equipment and providing support for any issue related to servers, network, cables, racks, cooling, power, UPS, generator and fire suppression system.
-Administrating Active Directory, Group Policy, Domain Controllers, and File Servers.
-Install, configure, test, and maintain Windows/Linux servers.
-Experience in managing 365 admin center, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and Intune.
-Experience in VMware infrastructure including ESXI hosts, vCenter and virtual machines.
-Experience in managing storage servers.
-Plan, test and deploy updates, upgrades and security patches on devices and servers.
-Experience in backup solutions like Veem which includes configuring schedules, monitoring status, fixing problems, changing tapes and maintaining routine schedule of backup audit and restore.
Security:
-Coordinate with security team and vendor for security-related requirements.
-Manage the deployment of security agents/patches on clients.
-Work with the IT Team to close VAPT reports findings.
-Respond to security alerts and take the required actions.
Support:
-Provide L2/L3 technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to software and hardware.
-Respond to help desk requests. Troubleshoot escalated problems, analyze and resolve issues.
-Engaging & coordinating with vendors for critical issues, escalations
-Run reports to analyze common complaints and problems and identify the root cause.
-Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses. Monitor support & warranty status and work with Procurements for extension requirements.
